Antoine Arnoud

I am an Economist at the International Monetary Fund, in the Strategy, Policy and Review Department, in the Macro Risk Unit.

I am developing Machine Learning models to forecast country risks: financial, fiscal, real, external sector risks and risk of social unrests.

I also have exprtise on fiscal, debt sustainability developments, and monetary policies for Low Income Countries and Emerging Market Economies, especially on Laos, Vietnam, Micronesia, and Cameroon.

My research interests cover computational economics, macroeconomics and machine learning methods.

I hold a PhD in Economics from Yale University, and Master’s degrees Economics and Engineering from Paris School of Economnics, Tisnghua University and Ecole Polytechnique.
